Beat the heat this summer! It’s August and it’s HOT. Cool down and join us at Bar Frances for the famous New Orleans dining event, Coolinary. We have many unique dishes on our set menu this year that you won’t want to miss, such as the Squash Carpaccio or the Grilled Avocado. Our 3-course Coolinary dinner menu will be $37 per person, plus tax and gratuity, throughout the month of August. You and your loved ones have the option of ordering off of our regular dinner menu or the Coolinary menu.
1st Course (choice of…)
For a unique treat this Coolinary season, come join us and try the ‘Nduja and Melons for your first course, served with spicy pork salami, cantaloupe, honeydew, balsamic dates, and basil.
Another choice is the Charred Broccoli, complemented with orange-glazed jalapeno chicken meatballs, crispy onions, and sesame seeds.
Finally, you could choose the Squash Carpaccio, which comes with leeks, horseradish, parmesan, topped with a sweet corn vinaigrette.
2nd Course (choice of…)
For the main course, you may want to try our fan favorite, the Grilled Avocado. The dish includes herbed basmati rice, marinated yellow squash, topped with a sun-dried tomato vinaigrette, and cotija cheese.
If you’re looking for something heartier, another great Coolinary option is the Ribeye au Poivre, served with rosemary and chili-roasted fingerling potatoes, and sautéed collard greens.
For a delicious seafood classic, try our Gulf Shrimp entree. It’s served with cauliflower caponata, orzo, feta, and drizzled with lemon basil oil.
3rd Course (choice of…)
Although our apps and main courses are amazing, our dessert menu items this Coolinary season are to die for! One of our favorite desserts is the Banana and Nutella Crème Brûlée. The other dessert favorite that will be served is the Délice De Bourgogne, served with stone fruit preserves and drizzled with sweet Louisiana honey.
