Though vacation season has ended and everyone’s back on their usual schedules, we’re still keeping the flavors of summer alive at Bar Frances. From September 9th through 15th, we’ll be part of Restaurant Week New Orleans, allowing our head chef Marcus Woodham and his team to bring you the freshest picks of the season. Bar Frances is offering a three-course dinner (excluding tax, beverages, and gratuity) for just $37.
Our first course starts out with three light and fresh choices, like our ‘Nduja and Melons, served with spicy pork salami, cantaloupe, honeydew, balsamic dates, and basil.
We are also offering a Charred Broccoli dish paired with orange-glazed jalapeño chicken meatballs, crispy onions, and sesame seeds.
If you’re looking for something light and meat-free, then the Squash Carpaccio is a perfect choice! This dish combines the flavors of fresh squash with leeks, horseradish, and parmesan and is topped with a sweet corn vinaigrette.
Your entrée options include a choice of classic staples, each with a summer twist! Try our current fan-favorite of Grilled Avocado paired with herbed basmati rice and marinated yellow squash topped with our sun-dried tomato vinaigrette and cotija cheese.
In New Orleans, late summer is the season of shrimp! We pair our fresh Gulf Shrimp with cauliflower caponata, orzo, and feta, all drizzled with lemon-basil oil.
If you’re interested in something a little heartier, look no further than our Ribeye au Poivre served with rosemary, chili-roasted fingerling potatoes, and sautéed collard greens.
Of course, no meal is complete without dessert. To finish up your Bar Frances experience, we offer a choice of a Banana and Nutella Crème Brûlée or our Délice de Bourgogne, served with local Louisiana honey and stone fruit preserves.
Join us in celebrating all that New Orleans’s local cuisine has to offer during Restaurant Week 2019!
