Main

Bar Frances offers various main dishes during their happy hour which runs from 4 pm to 7 pm. One of the most popular selections is the warm castelvetrano olives, which go for $5 and feature orange rind and fennel seeds. The fried chickpeas go for $4 and feature lime zest, cumin, smoked paprika, and cotija. Also available at $5 is hand-cut french fries which are served with aioli. Whipped feta is available at $8 and features country bread, house pickles, and Aleppo chili. The charcuterie plate goes for $12 and features baguette, mustard, and house pickles. The cheese plate goes for $12 and features a baguette and seasonal accouterments. PEI mussels go for $10 and feature dill chips, malt vinegar, and pistachio pesto. Another interesting selection you might want to try is the burrata. This selection goes for $11 and features grilled bread, lemon, and sun-dried tomato tapenade. Bar Frances’ hot fried chicken sandwich is to die for. This selection goes for $12 and features fries, green aioli, sweet pickles, carrot slaw, cabbage, and Korean chili flakes.

Drinks

The happy hour also offers a wonderful selection of drinks to choose from. Featured drinks include draft beers and pickleback shots (tequila or bourbon with chef’s pickle brine). House wines, punch, and cocktails are available for $7. The house wine selection includes rose, white, and red wine. One of the most popular house cocktails includes the Corsican tonic which features a fantastic blend of tonic, Blanco tequila, and cap corse. The contratto spritz features soda, sparkling wine, and contratto aperitivo. Sbagliato bianco features sparkling wine, suze, and cocchi americano. Another popular house cocktail is Paloma which comprises a beautiful blend of lime juice, fresh grapefruit, soda, and tequila. Fernet and cola features a touch of coca-cola and fernet branca.
