New Orleans is hardly the best place to be when you’re on a restricted diet, but Bar Frances has you covered. We are delighted to offer plenty of flavor-forward and creative dishes that still meet the needs of just about any type of special diet. We have noticed our diners’ desires for more vegetarian and healthy eating options, and we wanted to make these foods more accessible for you!

One of our favorite healthy dinner items is the Grilled Avocado. This dish is served with herbed basmati rice and complemented with an Oaxacan chili and tomato coulis, sweet corn vinaigrette, and a candied pumpkin seed za’atar.

Our Grilled Napa Cabbage starter is also an excellent nutritious option. This healthy dish is served with delicious Szechuan peppercorns, sesame seeds, black garlic, and crispy shallots, topped with a miso vinaigrette. Other healthy dishes to try are the Tuna Tartar and the Market Tomato Cherry Panzanella served with kalamata olives, red onion, green garlic buttermilk ranch, sea salt, and bitter greens.
